Your meals are prepared fresh, then packaged for easy refrigeration or freezing at home. For the best quality and food safety, please follow the storage and reheating guidelines below.
---------------------------
When You Receive Your Order
Refrigerate or freeze your order promptly. Perishable foods should not remain at room temperature for more than 2 hours (or 1 hour if temperatures are above 90°F).
If you are not planning to enjoy your meals within a few days, we recommend freezing them when you receive your order.
---------------------------
Refrigerator Storage
Keep refrigerated items at 40°F or below.
For best quality and safety, enjoy refrigerated meals within 3–4 days.
If you won’t be eating a meal within that timeframe, move it to the freezer.
---------------------------
Freezer Storage
Casseroles, burritos, muffins, energy bites, lactation cookies, and cheddar herb potato soup can be frozen for longer-term storage.
For best quality, enjoy frozen meals within 3 months.
Freeze items in their original packaging unless otherwise noted. When possible, protect food from excess air to help prevent freezer burn.
---------------------------
Thawing
For the safest and best-quality results, thaw frozen meals in the refrigerator.
You may also reheat many items directly from frozen; allow additional cooking time and make sure the food reaches 165°F throughout before eating.
Do not thaw food on the counter.
---------------------------
Reheating Instructions
Important: Reheat prepared meals to an internal temperature of 165°F before eating. A food thermometer is the most reliable way to confirm that food has reached a safe temperature.
Casseroles
From refrigerated:
* Preheat oven to 350°F.
* Remove any packaging that is not oven-safe.
* Cover with foil to help retain moisture.
* Heat until the center reaches 165°F, typically about 20–30 minutes, depending on portion size and oven.
* Let stand for a few minutes before serving.
From frozen:
* Preheat oven to 350°F.
* Remove any packaging that is not oven-safe.
* Cover with foil.
* Bake until heated completely through and the center reaches 165°F. This may take approximately 45–75+ minutes, depending on the casserole and whether it is being reheated whole or by portion.
* For best results, check the center with a food thermometer.
Heating times are estimates. Appliances and portion sizes vary, so always use temperature—not time alone—to determine when food is ready.
Breakfast Burritos
From refrigerated:
* Microwave for approximately 1–2 minutes, turning halfway through.
* Continue heating in 30-second intervals until the center reaches 165°F.
From frozen:
* Microwave for approximately 2–4 minutes, turning halfway through.
* Continue heating in 30-second intervals until heated completely through and the center reaches 165°F.
For a crispier tortilla, finish in a skillet or toaster oven after microwaving.
Cheddar Herb Potato Soup
From refrigerated:
* Pour the desired amount into a microwave-safe bowl or saucepan.
* Microwave: Heat in 1-minute intervals, stirring between each interval, until steaming hot and the soup reaches 165°F.
* Stovetop: Heat over medium-low heat, stirring frequently, until steaming hot and the soup reaches 165°F.
* If the soup has thickened during refrigeration, add a small amount of milk or broth and stir to reach your preferred consistency.
From frozen:
* For best results, thaw overnight in the refrigerator.
* Reheat using the microwave or stovetop instructions above.
* If reheating directly from frozen, use low to medium-low heat and stir frequently as the soup melts and warms to prevent scorching.
Do not boil vigorously, as this may affect the texture of the soup.
Once reheated, serve immediately. Do not repeatedly reheat the entire container; heat only the portion you plan to eat.
Muffins
From refrigerated:
* Enjoy cold or warm.
* Microwave for approximately 15–30 seconds.
From frozen:
* Thaw overnight in the refrigerator, or microwave for approximately 30–60 seconds until warmed through.
Muffins do not need to reach 165°F because they are ready-to-eat baked goods.
Energy Bites
Keep refrigerated for best texture and quality.
They may also be frozen. Thaw in the refrigerator before enjoying.
No reheating necessary.
Lactation Cookies
Keep refrigerated for best freshness, or freeze for longer storage.
Thaw at room temperature or in the refrigerator before enjoying.
No reheating necessary.
